Email is the way to reach us. Plata is built by one person, and a real person reads and answers every message.

If you're reporting a problem, include your device and what you were doing when it happened — it makes things much faster to fix.

Common questions

How do I delete my account?

In the app: go to your Profile, tap Settings (the gear icon), then Delete Account. You'll type DELETE and re-enter your password to confirm. Full details, including what happens to your data, are on the account deletion page.

How do I share Plata with a training partner?

Send them platabjj.com/get. It opens the right store for their phone.

How do I report a session, comment, or user?

For a session or a user, open their profile or the session, tap the three-dot menu (···) in the top right, and choose Report. For a comment, tap the three-dot menu next to the comment. Pick a reason and submit. Every report is reviewed by a person.

How do I block someone?

Go to the profile of the person you want to block, tap the three-dot menu (···) in the top right, choose Block, and confirm. Blocking is mutual: you won't see each other's sessions, and any follows between you are removed.

How do I unblock someone?

Go to your Profile, tap Settings (the gear icon), then Blocked Users, and tap Unblock next to their name.

Signed in with Apple and don't see your old account?

Plata accounts are matched by email address. If your existing account uses an email and password, Sign in with Apple only reaches it when Apple passes along the same address. Choosing "Hide My Email" gives Plata an Apple relay address instead, which creates a new, empty account. To get back to your original account, sign out and sign in with your email and password. You can delete the extra account from Settings → Delete Account. We don't merge accounts.
